Enza's commitment to the community - 2009

* We are proud to support one of our therapists who will be taking our message globally and dedicating 1 month to support HIV positive women and children. She will be travelling to Kenya building support systems for those who need it most. Enza hosted a wine and cheese fundraising event for support donating original South African art, hand crafted giraffes, salt crystals, and baskets.

* Enza has joined KIVA, a grassroot organization, who through microloans enable unique entrepreneurs from all over the developing world to achieve their dreams. Everybody is welcome to join our lending team at: kiva.org * Enza is proud to donate baskets to: a local children's hockey fundraisers and a local children's soccor fundraiser in order to support young athletes.

Enza's commitment to the community - 2008

* Enza donated a basket to the Ryerson Writers association

* Enza is a happy to again participate in the The Fifth Annual Charity Dragon Boat Festival in support of the Halton Children's Aid Society and the Oakville Women's Centre. Together with our volunteers, we placed 3rd in our division and raised over $3000 for charity! Go Enza Spa Queen Dragons! Working all day, our therapists offered massages by donation, raising both money and awareness of this wonderful cause.

* Enza is happy to support the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Halton with a beautiful basket donation

* Enza supported our local Sunrise Senior Living Centre in honouring their wonderful staff.

* Enza is a proud to contribute a basket for a silent auction to St. Vincent's "Ladies Night Out", the women's day event at Ryerson University, and the Alzeimer's Society.

* Enza has proudly been a part of the selection committee for the "Women of the Year Awards".

* Enza hosted a free gallery event in May 2008 for local artist Ilze Flynn.

'Women helping women'

* Enza is a proud supporter of The Women's Centre that is located at Hopedale mall, Oakville. www.haltonwomenscentre.org We are actively doing our part to successfully lower the stress levels of these dynamic women of our community, to achieve this, our company has developed a natural, innovative, holistic D-Stress programme that is designed to relax and soothe body - mind - spirit.

Our free D-stress programme runs once a month from 8:00am - 8:00pm on a designated Tuesday every month. This year we are happy to add to our list of clients receiving this free service, The Sexual Abuse Centre that is also located in Oakville.

We are proud that all our therapists are dedicated to creating a positive impact in our community and environment, they each volunteer their services one day a month to support this programme and play an important role in the process of positive change.

Enza's commitment to the community - 2007

* Enza is a proud to participate in the The Fourth Annual Charity Dragon Boat Festival in support of the Halton Children's Aid Society. By setting an example participating for the second time in the annual Oakville Charity Dragon Boat Race, Enza is encouraging other small businesses to be more involved in their community. At this event alone Enza did over 60+ complimentary massages on top of what we raised individually to raise funds for such an amazing charity.

* Enza is a proud to contribute to the Women's centre production of the 'Vagina monologues'

* Enza has proudly donated spa packages to raise money for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer Run being held in September 2007.

* Enza has also donated on behalf of the Assaulted Women's Helpline. To helf fundraise for the Women in Your Life event on April 27, 2007 and demonstrating the Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa's commitment to ending violence against women.

* The Sexual Assault & Violence Intervention Services of Halton (SAVIS) provides free, confidential and non-judgmental 24-hour support to all survivors of sexual violence. We advocate against violence in the community at large and promote prevention through community education.

This spring, SAVIS is planning a spring workshop series. The workshops ? proposed to run on Wednesday evenings throughout May and June -- will encourage women to get in touch with their bodies and emotions. Enza will be doing a free workshop for women to help them learn new methods of self-care and practical ways to cope with stress.

* This Mother's day Enza is raising money on behalf on the Women's Centre located in Oakville, Ontario. The Women's Centre is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of women in transition, crisis or distress by helping them make positive changes in their lives and reach their highest potential.

Enza is also nominating 4 deserving women from the Women's Centre to have a chance at winning a full day spa package as a way of saying thank you to the mothers of our community.

* This Spring Enza is participating in the Women's Wellness Event hosted and sponsored by Boston Pizza. This free event invites women to come spring into summer with a workshop featuring many different speakers and demonstrators with the theme of Women's health and Wellness.

* In co-ordination with our June Detox Challenge! - Enza will be hosting, and running, a series of detox workshops every Wednesday evening in the month of June. These workshops allow individuals to have open communication during their detox process, to share detox tips and tricks, and to learn new methods of staying healthy.

Enza's commitment to the community - 2006

* Enza was also an active supporter of the Dragon boat Charity 2006, hosted by the Rotary Club of Oakville. Our team ' Spa queen Dragons' raised over $1760.00 for our charities ' Children's Aid', and the 'Womens Centre'.

* Cleaning up the community 2006. Enza participated in the local area clean up week, collecting garbage and refuse from surrounding parks in our area.

* Food drive, Enza collects food for the food bank to support those in need in our local Oakville community.

*Assaulted Women's Helpline - Enza supported the 'Celebrate the women in your life' event by donating to the silent auction. The event helped raise funds to offer toll free - and TTY telephone crisis lines to all women in the province of Ontario who have experienced abuse.

*Ninth Anual Halton Women of the year awards Ceremony - Enza was a proud contributor to this empowering event that focused on remarkable women who have made a difference throughout their lives. This event raised over 13,000 dollars for continuing support of women struggling due to ause, crisis or distress.

* 'Till debt do us part' - Life Network. Enza played an important role in pampering the winner and supplied a full relaxation package as our gift to her.

* Abbey Park High school Relaxation Workshop - Enza team participated, offering reflexology, back and neck massage, acupressure to help with students cope with stress.

* Throughout 2006 Enza has donated various items and services to local schools, community events and to various networks, television and radio stations.

I brought my mother to the Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa, in Oakville, in hopes of treating her to the most enjoyable spa experience. Upon arrival, we were welcomed in by their sweet receptionist, who escorted us down to the serene sitting area for some tea. When we finished our tea, we changed into robes and slippers provided by the spa. Our girls put us in a room together to lie down in heated beds with beautiful South African music playing in the background, to prepare us and make us feel even more relaxed. Our girls could not have been more professional. They made us feel very much at east, making the treatments very enjoyable. Once completed, they sat us in another sitting area to have some more tea and cookies. We felt very welcomed and at peace. This experience could not have been more enjoyable. On our way out we were able to choose a lucky stone. My mother and I were both very pleased with the service and experience we receieved on our visit to Enza. I will definitely be returning with friends and recommend Enza Spa. Treat yourself; you will thank yourself for having done so.

I was recommended to Judith Elaine of Enza Spa in Oakville, and I am happy to say that the session I had with her was a wonderful experience. Judith gave me a relaxing and very much needed massage. On Saturday, October 14th, we hosted a surprise double-baby shower for two of my friends, expecting their first babies. With the help of the ladies at Enza, we were able to coordinate not only the surprise, but various treatments for 12 ladies and a great space for everyone to mingle, open gifts, eat, drink and spend quality time together.
The girls were thrilled about the baby shower, they were so surprised and happy, truly touched. Everyone had a great time, it was the perfect venue for this type of event. The four girls that have never been there before were already making plans to go back. Everyone asked how we found Enza, which was cute. They said that it was much nicer and more personal than any other spa they've been to. There were several comments about what a relaxing and tastefully decorated space it was, and how once the treatments started, they wished they could just keep going!
It could not have run more smoothly, and I truly cannot think of a better and more special place to host other events in the future: baby showers, wedding showers, a bachelorette, birthdays, or just an afternoon on your own!

Enza Guidelines of Conduct

Our Guarantee:

At the Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa we guarantee that all services provided our staff are designed to pamper and nurture our clients to the fullest extent. If your spa experience is not as expected, please notify us. We will make every effort to address your concerns.

Checking In:

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. All registration must be done on the main floor at our Natural Health Center. This will allow ample time for check in and give you the chance to begin your relaxation process.

Referral System:

The Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa operates as a woman based company and asks for the comfortability of our clients that all male clients wishing to recieve treatments are refferal or recommendation only. If you would like to be recommended other spa's that offer specific services to men please feel free to call and inquire with our receptionist.

Contra-Indications:

At Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa we feel that it is important to disclose any special medical conditions or medications, including, but not limited to: heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, pregnancy, acne, recent injury, and recent surgery. Some treatments and services may be contra-indicated and therefore it is in your best interest to consult your therapist and physician if you feel that you are at risk.

Personal Items & Clothing:

Lockers are provided for our guests. Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items; therefore please consider leaving valuable items at home.

Cell phone and pager usage:

At the Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa, our goal is to provide the most relaxing, serene, and state of well-being possible. We ask that pagers, cell phones and handheld devices be turned off before entering the spa, this is to provide you with the ultimate retreat from everyday life.

Amenities:

Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa provides spa robes and slippers for each of our guests. Each guest can enjoy relaxing with a bottle of water and a cup of hot rooibos tea while they relax at the Enza Lounge. The Enza is an area devoted to providing the opportunity to reflect, relax, and luxuriate in the entire spa experience.

Children:

Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa recommends that children under the age of 13 do not receive treatments. Teens between age 13 and 17 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian before receiving services; However, we provide specialty days where packages and workshops are family oriented, such as our mommy days. For your own appointments: please leave children and pets at home while you enjoy your spa time - they are far less likely to enjoy it than you are!

Payments:

Guests are asked to pay for treatments at the Reception area of our space. The Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa accepts Visa, MasterCard, Gift Certificates, Debit and Cash as forms of payment. Our debit/credit card machine is set up with a 'tip' function for your convienience.

Please note:

Any and all vulgar behavior will not be tolerated at the Enza Natural Health Centre & Day Spa and such conduct will be treated as harassment and dealt with legally.

What should I wear?:

We will provide you with a robe and slippers for your therapy. We suggest bringing open toed shoes, or flipflops, for pedicure appointments.

How much should I tip?:

Tips are not included in the price of your treatment but are greatly appreciated by your therapists for a job well done! 10-15% is customary.

Do I have to make an appointment?:

Yes, our therapies are offered by appointment only. Please feel free to call and inquire with our receptionist. Appointments should be made at least two to three weeks in advance for a Saturday, and be sure to book early for holidays and special occassions.
